The iTel IPV-8K48U is a high-capacity 8kW single-phase hybrid solar inverter designed for customers who need strong solar generation, battery backup and flexible energy management for larger homes, agricultural applications, offices and small commercial installations.
With a rated output of 8kW and up to 16kW surge power for 5 seconds, the inverter is designed to handle demanding loads and appliances with higher starting requirements. It operates with a 48V battery system and supports lead-acid, lithium-ion and user-defined battery types.
High solar input capacity
The IPV-8K48U supports up to 16,000W of PV input and uses two MPPT trackers. Its maximum PV voltage is 500V, with an MPPT operating range of 85V–450V. This gives installers considerable flexibility when designing the solar array.
Powerful battery charging
The inverter supports up to 160A MPPT charging current, 160A mains/generator charging current, and up to 180A battery discharge current. This makes it suitable for larger 48V lithium or lead-acid battery systems.
Dual-load support
The IPV-8K48U supports Main Load and Smart Load outputs, allowing users to prioritize certain appliances and manage high-power loads more intelligently. It also supports diesel generators for additional backup flexibility.
